This auction is for an antique Salter's family scale, I believe it is from the late 1800s but it has been fully restored and repainted in enamel paint which is why it is in superb condition and a great decorator piece for the most luxurious kitchen or country home. This displays fabulously due to its condition however there are a few minor blemishes to it which although restored it is still old and still has some bumps and bruises.

This beautifull scale is in cast iron I believe, it works and is quite a large example. The new owner will be very pleased with this gorgeous piece.

The scales measure 32cm high approx and the tray is 24cm in diameter. These are the most beautifull scales I have seen. They are very heavy due to the cast iron so postage is as follows -

All my items are used not abused and therefore there will be age wear, as I sell mainly antiques they will never be pristine as that is a sign of a true antique, I will mention all faults that I can see and will answer any questions that I can but I am not an expert and can only give you my personal opinion.
